The Chemistry I Lecture & Lab course provides a comprehensive introduction to the fundamental principles and applications of
general chemistry. This course examines topics that include composition of matter, the atom, chemical bonding,
solutions, measurements, chemical nomenclature, stoichiometry, and thermochemistry. Students will complete mastery assignments with lab activities including three formal lab reports.
This is a 4 credit‐hour course. Satisfactory completion of the course requires passing a midterm and a final exam.
